The Sovereign's Lance is the personal armed guard of the Prince (or Princess) when they are in battle. The unit shall consist of armored combatants appointed by the Sovereign. The members of this guard shall wear on their helms torses of green, blue, red. One officer of the Lance shall be titled the Oberst [Colonel], chosen by the Sovereign -- their torse will be green, blue, red and gold. This honor lasts from the time a person is named to the Lance until the end of the reign.
