Award: Order of the Shield of the Summits (Principality of the Summits) [Branch web site]
Shield of the Summits recipients residing in
Order name registered in the February 2009 LoAR. Order of the Shield of the Summits (from the Summits website): Bestowed by the current Royal Consort to that combatant whom they judge to have been most chivalrous during the Coronet Lists. The recipient shall bear the Shield of Chivalry and display the favor of the Shield of Chivalry. The consort of the recipient shall bear the Baldric of the Shield of Chivalry and carry the Most Honourable List of the names of those combatants and consorts who were previously bestowed this great honour. A new member of the Order is selected at each Coronet Tournament and the regalia is passed on. If a Royal Consort does not wish to award the Shield, it is kept in the possession of the Coronets, until the next Coronet Tournament. This award was first given AS XXVII --- Blue Grael confirms that both who receive the Shield/Baldric of Chivalry are inducted into the Order of the Shield of the Summits.
